My 1st ATL client

I meet with Mrs. Pat today and we had a very thorough consultation. We scheduled the appointment for the full locking session on the weekend of June 14th and 15th until we realized that was the weekend of Father's day. So, we rescheduled for June 16th and 17th. Check back often as I will be posting pictures (with Mrs. Pat's permission of course). I am so excited! She will be one of my clients that I use towards my certification.

A big thanks to everyone for your kind words of encouragement and advice.

Take care!

Another possible client...yay

For the last two days, Pat and I have been playing phone tag. I wasn't sure who she was but my intuition told me that she was calling in reference to her hair. Well, we finally got in touch with each other , she was responding to an email that I sent her. She had looked me up on the SL website a few months ago and sent me an email. Well, she wasn't ready at that time but I was going through my old emails and any of them that were related to SL's, I sent a new email announcing my promotional prices. She is ready but she feels that she needs to let her hair grow out a little more. When she describes her hair to me though, I think it's long enough now. Anyhow, she's coming over this Saturday for a consultation and if it's long enough, we'll put the sample locks in and she'll schedule her locking session. I'm so could I have put this on the back burner...

I have good news...

I'm expecting but I was waiting to get pass the 1st trimester before announcing to everyone. I had an u/s today and found out that we are having a BOY. My daughter and I wanted a girl while my sweetie and my son wanted a son. Well, they got there wish but when I saw the u/s, I was like, oh, my little man. I can't wait until he gets here...I am only 14 wks and 4 days along but the u/s technician was able to determine that it was a boy/ It was very obvious, his little "weiter" was just sitting there and then he put his hand on it...the technician and I died laughing!

Thanks Salkis for the recommendation of AlertPay! They are verified by Visa, the BBB, VeriSign Secured and HackerSafe. There was also a write up in CNN Money about how they are truly PayPals competition as PayPal and their freezing of funds are becoming an increasing problem. This is great, now my clients can easily use their credit or debit cards to make their deposit for their initial locking session or to make payments towards the full price if desired. I love business minded folks, thanks again for sharing...

Can ya'll tell how hyped I am, up at 4am, steady grinding. This is how work is supposed to feel, not where you are dreading the next day because you have to go. Just the opposite, where you can't sleep because you are so excited about what you do. I love SL's. Thanks Dr. C. (Have ya'll noticed how she makes comments on her guestbook very often. I would love the opportunity to meet her)

Night or should I say morning???

A trip dowm memory lane

I just read through all of my past blogs and comments and was reminded why I love the sisterlock sisterhood so much. We are always there for each other. I am so regretful that I took a whole year off from updating my blog, I needed you guys...

My new client

I got an email at 4:38 this morning from a lady wanting a call about SL's. When we got in touch with each other, we talked for almost an hour! We instantly connected. We have an appointment set for June 22nd and she will be one of my clients that will go towards my certification. I can't wait to meet her in person.

Thanks Renee for the confirmation, I truly received it!

I'm back...

Hey everyone-

I have been out of the loop for a while now, trying to adjust to life but I'm back and ready to go. I am still syked as ever about SL's and am ready to take my business to the next level as a full time consultant. I've been pursuing this corporate america thing that is SO over-rated for the last few years and it has just confirmed to me that my initial desire to become a full time consultant is the right way to go.

I am taking my next two clients for full installs at a reduced rate as I'm working to achieve certification ASAP! I look forward to the people that I will meet and the relationships that will be formed.

Check back often as I pray I'll have a lot to report ;>
